Much of the time, the effectiveness of NLP is in learning how to uncover the "structure" of experience for useful and sustainable change: change the structure, change the experience. However, the content that we tend to focus on - and that which we leave out - can either enhance or limit our ability to build rapport with ourselves and others. This month, we'll explore the 5 basic content categories that all people use to make sense of the world. Through this greater awareness we will: -clarify how our content 'preferences' can build rapport - or instigate conflict -make better decisions for ourselves -build deeper rapport with others by understanding more about their 'maps of the world' -enrich our choices and build greater clarity, both internally and with other people.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a set of practical tools for personal change, community connection, and effective communication. In this workshop, I offer some simple tools that can help gently guide your subjective experience towards useful and positive outcomes: * Explore the qualities of unwanted emotions and how easy it is to invite them to dissolve or change so that they work for you. * Discover the positive purpose of any unwanted feeling or behavior in 5-15 minutes. * Learn that your thoughts and behavioral experiences have a structure. * Enjoy beginning to understand how others represent their experience differently. This session will be offered again on 12/16/09. Please RSVP by sending me an email: evolve@lisaolcese.com. $20.
