I want to say how refreshing it has been for me to witness the group engage and support one another during the meetings you worked with us. Having that as an intended focus, along with your facilitation, felt productive and meaningful.
Ethical Communication
“Ethical Communication” is a combination of communication principles and practices used by nonprofits and other groups wishing to 'walk their talk.' I co-developed this version with my colleagues at Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence, a nonprofit who sought to make their internal practices consistent with their social justice mission. I've expanded the training to include inspiration from the dozens of nonprofits and small businesses I've worked with to adapt this model to reflect their own principles of justice and excellence. This method provides a unique set of professional standards coupled with advanced communication skills, based on a thoughtful examination of power dynamics and supercharged with NLP skills and strategies. The practice of Ethical Communication maximizes opportunities for open and direct interactions across diversities while minimizing the impact of lingering, unresolved conflict and misunderstanding.
